DIY 3D Hand

Let’s Make a 3D HAND… or Who’s Hiding Under the Blanket?

The final result is very impressive! You get the illusion of a hand hiding under a colorful rug. It’s suitable for older kids.

You don’t need any special artistic abilities to make a similar 3-dimensional hand.

The illusion of volume is great… especially from a distance.

Оutline your kid’s hand with a pencil. Use a black marker to draw parallel lines on the paper, bending them when you’re inside the hand outline. Then start filling them out with different colors.

For kids younger than 7 the black lines could be drawn by an adult, and the child shall only color the stripes with felt-tip pens.
